Scottsdale Brow Lamination "Brow Lift"

What is Brow Lamination?
Brow Lamination aka "brow lift" is the hottest new trend in eyebrows! This service creates the look of full, fluffy brows in one simple appointment by realigning the directional hair growth & enhancing the brow shape. The results are GORGEOUS and visible right away, providing instant gratification. The lamination effect lasts up to 8 weeks.

Does Brow lamination cause damage to brow hair?
LACQUER has been custom formulated to be gentle on the hair and skin. When performed correctly by a trained professional, brow lamination does not cause any long term damage to the brow hair. Brow lamination works by restructuring the brow hair’s disulphide bonds - essentially using the same science and basic principles of a perm.

Who is an ideal Lacquer brow lamination candidate?
- Anyone looking to improve the overall look of their brows⁣⁣⁣
- Clients with sparse brows⁣⁣⁣
- Clients who are growing out their brows⁣⁣⁣
- Men⁣⁣⁣
- Clients not ready to commit to permanent makeup⁣⁣⁣

What is the brow lamination process like?
Brow lamination is basically a perm for your brows, as it gives them a set, uniform shape for an extended period of time. Instead of curls, a setting lotion helps brow hair stay brushed up and lifted upward for about six weeks. If you're lucky, you can wake up [every morning] with bolder, fuller brows in a beautiful shape for up to two months!

How does the magic happen?
Your brows will first be cleansed, then a perming solution will be applied and covered with plastic film.  After 8-10 minutes, depending on your hair type, it will be removed and your brows will be brushed into the desired shape.  A setting lotion will then be applied.  After the allotted time, we'll remove the lotion and tint your brows, if desired.  to conclude your service, we'll apply a nourishing treatment, to hydrate and laminate the hairs.
Who shouldn't get a brow lamination?  Contraindications:
-pregnancy
-skin disease, trauma, abrasions or burns in the immediate area
-eye infection or inflammation
-hypersensitive skin/eyes
-short, straight brows may not experience dramatic results

Aftercare
The aftercare is very simple when it comes to Brow Lamination. The most important points to relay to your clients are:
  • Do not wet your eyebrows for 24-48 hours
  • Avoid touching the brow area at the risk of transferring oils
  • Do not apply makeup to the brows for 24 hours post-treatment
  • Do not apply Retin A, aha or exfoliate the brow area for 72 hours before or after the
    treatment
  • No self-tanner products should be used on the face for at least 48 hours post-treatment
  • Apply Lacquer Brow Balm daily (we suggest before bed)
  • Comb the hairs into place each day
Be sure to send your clients home with Lacquer Brow Balm to apply before bed to lengthen the results and condition their brows.
We are chemically treating the brow hairs so it is normal for the brows to feel slightly dry post-procedure. This is why the aftercare Lacquer Brow Balm is a must.
